Additional information on personal data handling for cruise enquiries and reservations.
Edition 29 October 2026 · English
01 Purpose and scope
This notice provides additional information on the handling of personal data in the process of responding to cruise inquiries, arranging reservations and fulfilling related customer and legal obligations. It supplements the Privacy Policy rather than replacing it.
02 Controller
J.E.M. Trade d.o.o. | Schiavuzzijev prilaz 30, 52100 Pula, Croatia | info@croatiacruise.eu. Website: https://croatiacruise.eu.
03 Inquiry and reservation information
Information processed may include contact details, selected programme, departure and cabin preferences, correspondence, payment information and, for confirmed bookings, passenger information necessary for the cruise operator or lawful travel requirements. Please do not include passport scans, medical details or bank-card information in a general inquiry unless specifically requested through an appropriate secure procedure.
04 Processing principles and security
We apply the principles of purpose limitation, data minimisation, accuracy, storage limitation and appropriate organisational and technical security. Access should be restricted to authorised staff and service providers. Data should not be used for unrelated advertising without an appropriate lawful basis.
05 Lawful basis, recipients and analytics
Data provided for an enquiry or a reservation is processed as necessary to respond to your request or perform a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), to meet legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c)), or for appropriate legitimate interests such as information security (Article 6(1)(f)). Booking-related data may be shared with the relevant cruise provider and communication, IT, payment and accounting service providers to the extent necessary. Optional Google Analytics 4 is separate from the enquiry and reservation process and operates only with your consent (Article 6(1)(a)); it is not a condition of making a booking. International data transfers, where applicable, require suitable GDPR safeguards. Further information is available in our Privacy Policy.
06 Data retention and access
Personal information is retained only for the relevant business purpose and applicable legal duties. Retention depends on whether an enquiry becomes a confirmed booking and whether contractual, financial or legal recordkeeping applies. Actual retention periods must be documented in the company's internal schedule. Access is restricted to authorised personnel and relevant service providers. GA4 data retention is controlled separately in Google Analytics and should be checked against the configured property settings; it is not the same as the retention period of booking records.
07 Your choices and rights
You may contact info@croatiacruise.eu to request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability or to object to processing, subject to statutory conditions. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting past lawful processing. You can change your analytics choice at any time through the Cookie Settings control in the footer. You may also complain to the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP), azop.hr.
