How J.E.M. Trade d.o.o. handles personal information relating to Croatia Cruise inquiries and bookings.

Edition 29 October 2026 · English

01 Who is responsible for your data?

J.E.M. Trade d.o.o., Schiavuzzijev prilaz 30, 52100 Pula, Croatia, is the controller of personal data used for its own customer inquiries, sales and related business operations. Contact: info@croatiacruise.eu. Website: https://croatiacruise.eu.

02 Data collected

For cruise inquiries, we may receive your name, email, telephone number, departure preferences, cabin selection, number of guests and message. For confirmed reservations and required passenger arrangements, additional identification or travel information may be requested separately. Invoicing, payment records and correspondence are processed as needed for bookings and applicable legal obligations.

03 Why we process data

We use data to respond to an inquiry, prepare and perform a booking, administer payments, provide customer assistance, resolve complaints and comply with accounting and other applicable law. Depending on the purpose, legal grounds may include steps before or performance of a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)), legal obligations (6(1)(c)), legitimate interests in security and preventing misuse (6(1)(f)), and separate consent for optional activities where legally required (6(1)(a)). An inquiry is not automatically consent to marketing.

04 Recipients

Information may be shared when necessary with the relevant vessel operator, passenger-service suppliers, banks, accountants, hosting/email service providers, and competent authorities where required by law. Any transfer of personal data outside the EEA must be supported by a legally appropriate transfer mechanism where required.

05 How long we keep information

We keep personal information only for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose and applicable legal requirements. Booking, payment and accounting records may be retained for legally required periods. Enquiry records are reviewed in line with business needs and applicable limitation periods. Exact operational retention periods are subject to our documented retention schedule. Google Analytics user-level and event-level data retention is managed separately in the GA4 property settings; the configured period should be verified in the Analytics administrator interface. Aggregated reports may remain available for longer.

06 Your rights

Depending on the legal conditions, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal data and object to certain processing. Consent can be withdrawn for activities based on consent without affecting prior lawful processing. Write to info@croatiacruise.eu. You may complain to the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP), https://azop.hr/.

07 Cookies, Google Analytics and your choices

We use essential session technologies for website security and enquiry functionality. We also offer optional Google Analytics 4 (GA4), supplied by Google, to help us understand visits, page views, general traffic sources and use of our cruise pages. The Google Analytics measurement ID for this website is G-YV55V0ZD6R. Analytics is optional: we do not load the GA4 measurement script unless you consent to analytics in our cookie settings. Refusing analytics does not prevent you from browsing the website or making an enquiry.

With your permission, Google Analytics may process information such as page addresses, device and browser information, approximate location derived from network data, referral sources and interactions with pages. Google Analytics may set first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_* to distinguish visits; their lifespan may be up to two years depending on settings. We do not intentionally send guest names, email addresses, phone numbers, payment-card details or payment-link tokens to Analytics. As with other online analytics services, the information may constitute personal data and Google may process it as a service provider. Information on Google's handling of data is available in its Privacy Policy and cookie information.

The legal basis for optional analytics is your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You can accept, reject or later withdraw analytics consent via , available in the website footer. Withdrawing consent stops future optional analytics collection; it does not retroactively erase data already processed, and you may contact us to exercise your GDPR rights. Your choice is stored locally in your browser. Google may process data outside the EEA under applicable safeguards, including where relevant the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and other valid transfer mechanisms.

We have not enabled separate Google Ads conversion tags or Meta Pixel through this GA4 implementation. Links to social-media services and external services are governed by their own privacy policies when you visit them. We periodically review the technologies actually used on this website.

08 Updates and contact

We may revise this notice when processing practices change, including changes to analytics or cookie technologies. J.E.M. Trade d.o.o. | Schiavuzzijev prilaz 30, 52100 Pula, Croatia | info@croatiacruise.eu. Version: 29 October 2026.
